1. How much does framing cost?
Typical framing costs commonly range between $8–$20 per square foot depending on region, house complexity, materials, and whether trusses are included. We provide a firm, written estimate after reviewing plans and site conditions.
2. How long will the framing phase take?
Once the foundation is ready, framing for a typical single-family home usually takes about 1–3 weeks. Project size, weather, inspections, and material lead times can extend this; we provide a detailed schedule for each project.
3. Do you handle permits, inspections, and coordination with my architect or GC?
Yes. We coordinate with your architect, general contractor, and local building departments—helping pull permits and scheduling required inspections—or we can work under your GC’s permit process as agreed in the contract.
4. What materials and construction methods do you use? Can you meet custom or engineered plans?
We use quality framing materials such as kiln-dried lumber, engineered lumber and trusses, and pressure-treated components where required. We build to engineered plans and local code requirements and can accommodate custom specifications and upgrades for durability and energy performance.
5. What insurance, warranties, and quality controls do you provide?
We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance and follow industry safety protocols. We stand behind our workmanship with a standard warranty and a formal punch-list process to address any issues; exact warranty details are included in the contract.
